God Helps Find a Wallet

A guy in the homeless shelter told a story this morning. He chalked his good fortune up to luck, but I don’t believe in luck, I believe in God.

His story goes like this:
Two days ago, he was riding his bicycle to the edge of town. When he got back, he noticed his wallet was missing. He figured that the seat of the bike forced the wallet out of his back pocket and it fell to the ground.
The shelter has a curfew, so he wasn’t able to ride out to find his wallet until the next day.
The following morning, he road out on the same route. When he reached the edge of town, he had not found his wallet.
He was frustrated when he started back for the shelter.
After a few minutes, the back tire of his bike blew out. He was going to have to carry the bike back to the shelter.
On the walk back, he found his wallet.
The guy said that the wallet was in a place that he would have never found it from his bike.
The guy and some others listening to the story said it was a stoke of good luck, but I know different.
This guy might have been tempted to curse God for the blown tire, but sometimes little inconveniences happen for good reasons.
