I was super upset about missing yet another birthday of one of my kids, so I worked some, had an awesome lunch at Phoenix (saw Vivian!!!!), and then proceeded on to a gathering at a local watering hole, Hot Rod’s.
I’ve never hung out at the Hot Rod’s before, but the staff and many of the patrons welcomed me and I had a good time.
Their occasion for the party was a show of automobiles and souped up lawn mowing machines.
This is funny: I was carded. That’s right, the security guy checked my ID. This June 18th will be the 21st anniversary of my 21st birthday. Yay.
