Things I Would Like To Do

Ok, I said there was nothing I wanted, but there are some things that I said I wanted in the past.  I guess I still want these:

(1) My daughter and I dreamed about buying some land near a neighborhood in Tulsa that needed a park, building a park, and donating it to the city.  I’d like it to be called Jorjosh Park.  The kids might be adults when this gets done, but it’s still going to be fun.  Maybe their kids can help pick out the playground sets.  The ground needs to be covered in that easy-to-care-for rubberized stuff.

(2) I want to be able to spend summers in cooler places.  Hawaii comes to mind.

(3) Corvette.  I know, I know… Still want one, if only for a month.  Then I can get something more comfortable.

I’m not enjoying spending holidays alone.

I understand that wanting less means you have more, and I understand that having things doesn’t make a person happy, but if you want nothing but to survive, especially in America, then you will probably do no better than to survive and survival is just boring unless there’s a real chance you’re not going to survive.

I’m not very excited by any future opportunity to play the survival game.

It’s not as much fun as it sounds.
