You need to know that in my early twenties my appendix was surgically removed.
Just before they removed my appendix, a doctor poked it with his index finger, causing me to experience a sharp, searing pain. The pain was so sudden and so strong that, for just a moment, I was distracted from the horror of having that dude’s finger in my ass.
