Dream Weirdness

In one dream, I was lying in bed in a hospital, talking to someone. I lost consciousness. I woke up and was being given oxygen. I felt weird, light headed, like I was drugged.

I think this was two firsts for my dreaming: Losing consciousness, and feeling weird like I was drugged.

In the next dream, the world was ending and everyone knew it, but there was no chaos. I was going through my standard thinking on what it would be like to die.

The only funny thing (and I hope worth reading this crap) is that in this future, I went to a bar in a mall. The bar top was built around an opening where you could look down from the second floor to the first. It was more like an office bar. People weren’t eating or drinking. Some were working and some were watching television.

Oh yeh, the funny thing:

They kept paper clips on fishing line hanging from a high ceiling.  I guess they didn’t want you to be able to take them home with you.

As I see it, there are only two possibilities upon our death: Either we end or we go on to something else.  Neither possibility is scary.  If we end, then we have no fear and no regrets because we are no longer.  If we go on, then we go on as everyone else has and everyone else will.
I am sure we are not reincarnated on Earth.  It’s a sweet idea that we repeat life until we learn what is important (whatever that is), but reincarnation without a memory of your previous lives to subconsciously find your way to the truth is the same as not being yourself which means you (as you know you) were not reincarnated.  It’s a complete waste of a story and not likely the Universe would work that way.
You can say that God (or the Universe or whatever) works in mysterious ways, but He certainly doesn’t work in preposterous ways.
Worrying that if you’re a bad person you might be reincarnated as an ox, or hoping that if you’re a good person you’ll be reincarnated as an eagle doesn’t make much sense because obviously you wouldn’t know you were ever human and therefore would not regret your new station.  I certainly don’t remember if I was promoted to human being because I was a really accomplished zebra so even if I was it makes no difference — it’s not part of my consciousness so it’s not part of me.  Most likely, it never happened and it doesn’t matter if it did.
It’s a fact that there is no proof of our existence after death.  But that fact doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.
Columbus had no proof he could travel the wrong way around the world.
Galaxies are out there, but their light is too faint to be seen by the naked eye.
If there is Design, then it’s obvious we are not yet to know of existence after death.  What would happen to this life?  People would be bailing out by the millions.
