The closer your speech to the truthful representation of your ideas the more people will love you and hate you. Eventually people only love you and hate you… except in one case. There’s only speaker who knows everyone and has devised a plan to please them all. And those poll numbers are your proof of God, jackass.
It’s in God’s best interest to please everyone, not to garner worshipers or slaves, but so everyone is happy because he really feels your pain.
