We Pray before Others for the Benefit of Others

So my prayer is one of thanks.

It’s not necessary for me to express what I want or need, because God’s living my walk and knows these things.

The burritos I just ate were purchased with money that I made thanks to some weird, chance introductions.  I made the money employing skills I learned as a child because I just happened to be in the right place at the right time (like anything happens by accident).  My burritos were heated up in a microwave that I do not own and consumed in a home office that I do not own with a fork that I do own.  The owner of this house found me by “chance,” and forgave me after I was a shithead to her, and this fork was purchased with money I earned working for another guy while he helped me get my own place… and then later forgave me for being a shithead to him.

This is all God’s work.  Each person who has helped me (and you) was acting in their own self interest, but they were listening to the whispers that told them that I really needed them.

So, I’m thankful for this system of God’s that networks us all together whether some of us choose to deny Him or not.

He doesn’t care… Just stop hitting your neighbor with a stick, please.  God’s living in your neighbor just as He’s living in you.
