Anyone can stand to give up their power as long as you do it like you’re boiling a frog. Don’t boil animals you’re not going to eat, but you put the frog in the water when it’s cool and refreshing. If takes generations to return the power where it belongs, then no one has to die because no one even notices.
The power belongs with the people and, in fact, the power has always been with the people.
The system of the United States makes sure that it can only be borrowed and only for geologically minuscule periods of time.
Four more years won’t kill anyone. Heck, he might save us all. I think we’ll be a little better off either way no matter what because everything always happens for the best and the good guys have already won.
If there was a coordinated effort by evil (which there is not) then it would be grasping at straws, throwing everything in but the kitchen sink, because it doesn’t know when to throw in the towel.
Trust but verify.
