Playing Quake

I just had the image that we’re all, right now, playing Quake.. We’re enjoying animal bodies.

I’ve paid very close attention to my brain for a long time, and I’ve taken account of what faculties are managed by the brain (the meat) and me.  I believe a “person” is what is created when two different beings get smashed together, animal and spirit.

My use of DXM for fifteen years now has afforded me a long term look into the inner workings of my brain in a logical sense… Not a physical, neurotransmitter, medical, icky sense.  Because DXM’s effects come on slowly and go away slowly (over at least 12 hours) and since those effects are so regular and predictable, I was able to repeat things over and over and I learned what does what and this does that… And I had to remember how to read again every time.. and I think that has exercised my brain.. It’s a puzzle.. The WORLD.   What if once a week, for fifteen years, you had to grow up again?  Wow.

I’m still completely unsure of what I want to say about all this or how I’ll write all this, but I’m pretty damn sure that experimenting with DXM has saved my life.

That’s a big statement from someone who is going to be the 50th President of the United States of America.

The internet is forever, so you’re just remembering me now.

  1. And, I find trails of stuff I don't remember leaving to things I don't remember writing. Some might say the evidence of where you're going is where you are.
