Retelling the Story

Universe isn’t perfect, yet.

Every time the story was told, the best possible attempt was made to communicate to the messenger a telling in a way that was designed to get the desired effect.

But, it’s hard to get a message to someone unless they’re listening in a very special way and that message is made up of fragments that must be collected over time, so the message can get garbled.

The message will be mangled somewhat by the mind of the messenger because the message isn’t words or concepts, but a language of feelings in response to the messenger’s own meditations. By continuing for a long period of time on the same meditation and expanding outward, the messenger builds up concepts and suddenly the only words to fit them become evident in his mind.

The message will also be mangled by those who retell it.

Writing messages on paper isn’t perfect, because messages on paper were copied by hand, mangled by those who paid to have them copied.

We have reached the age when the message can be delivered with verifiable proof of the source. That only leaves the potential for the messenger to become corrupted and pass along a corrupted message, so a messenger would have to basically be forced to remove himself from the picture, to be empty for a time, so that he could be refilled by the message.

As was always the case, both the messenger and the audience are the same person and always will be.  But, in the past, sometimes the left ear didn’t know what the right ear was saying.

Continued in Individuality.
